About Callie

Callie Martindale is an emerging library science professional who is committed to providing high quality customer service and research assistance to today's academics. She aims to become an academic libararian. Martindale is a 2022 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in English, and a 2024 graduate of Miami University with a master's degree in English literature. She is currently working toward her second master's degree in library science at Indiana University, where she specializes in information accessibility, instructional librarianship and digital humanities.

Martindale's literary background arms her with strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and an in depth understanding of the research process. Her research focus on disability studies and accessibility also helps her tailor her research assistance to the various educational needs of others. She's always looking to gain more experience and meet new people in her field. Let’s connect!

Current Roles

She currently serves as the 2025-2026 Jay Information Literacy Fellow for the Teaching and Learning department of Indiana University Libraries, and works as a graduate research assistant for Indiana University Digital Collections.
